Going Green

The best trend in America right now is the practice of being better to the environment. Our family has a long way to go,but here is a start

Support farmers markets,

Grow a garden, 

and catch fish with a hook and line, this is 45 miles out in the ocean, watching the dolphins swim by as we catch snapper and grouper. Life is good.

My favorite fish, part 2

My all time favorite fish and ingredient, Yellowfin Tuna, is heavily fished. Read "Tuna, A Love Story" to find out how to save these incredible fish. I may have to go to "B-Liner", member of the snapper family as my new favorite fish. Recipe to come.

Aspen Food and Wine

Had a great trip to Aspen Food and Wine Event, some of the highlights were, Morimoto and his knife skills, a brown bear outside the house we were staying at, doing mock interview training with Top Chef winner Ilan Hall and Tom Coliccio, and lots of good food!
